A large covered deck area overlooks the river with eagles and ospreys flying by at eye level. A 3 car garage offers a spot to keep your toys and vehicles. A complete renovation was done in 2009. The game room and lower level is finished in solid Red Alder paneling from Washington State. The kitchen, and upper section floors are done in knotty White Oak. The kitchen cabinets are custom quartered White Oak with ebony accents done in the Greene and Greene arts and crafts style with hand forged iron hardware. The lighting in the upper section is "Old California" lighting. The lower section lighting is from Adirondack artist Robert Stump. All windows were replaced with Marvin ultimate divided light. There are 50 year shingles on the roof. Most of the electrical, and plumbing were replaced with the renovation. The siding is poplar bark from North Carolina requiring no maintenance, and the other exterior half of the home is natural cedar. Exterior porch floors are Ipe with Black Locust railings and posts. All 5 bathrooms were completely redone. This is a very rare parcel originally owned by the Butters Family (AKA known as Buttersville named after them in Ludington) . From the original 6000 acre farm this was the best building site, chosen from miles of river frontage for the best fishing and best view. The rest of the acreage was purchased by the government in the 1920s that is now the National Forest.
